Mountain cottage Beskydy
My husband and I are currently undertaking the complete renovation of a rural house in the Beskydy Mountains of the Czech Republic. This place holds deep personal significance for us, reflecting our roots and our admiration for our cultural heritage and traditions. Being there, we feel a profound connection to the serene natural surroundings, which bring us a much-needed sense of peace and balance.
Renovating a traditional timber-framed house requires a thoughtful and meticulous approach, as modern modifications could risk compromising its structural integrity. We deeply respect the craftsmanship of those who originally built the house and are committed to preserving its authentic character throughout the renovation.
To explore and refine our vision, I’ve created numerous conceptual drawings to discuss and clarify ideas. I look forward to sharing more updates on this meaningful project as the renovation progresses.
